Guess what? For the last two days, Owen has taken a long afternoon nap! I lay on our bed with him to make it happen (NOT A SUSTAINABLE OPTION) but I’ve loved the few hours of peace. Noise machine, ceiling fan, dark room = happy baby, happy mama. Now if someone could just bring me a tropical drink or a bowl of ice cream…

Attention technology geeks! I’m soooo glad Michelle told me about Pocket. I’ve been using it to bookmark all the articles and posts I see floating around Twitter. I used to leave a bunch of browsers open. Now I bookmark what I want to read, and access it on my phone at 2:00am. YES.
A World Breastfeeding Week salute. My favorite line? “And to those of you living in the desert and breastfeeding in sweltering heat, I salute you twice. You and your sweaty babies.”
I can’t wait to try this homemade pad thai.
Happy Labor Day weekend y’all! Any fun plans? I hope to go for a run, attend a free yoga class and do a bit of shopping. If just one of the three things happens, I’ll be pleased as punch.
