Allison let Anna watch Sesame Street for the first time last weekend on her iPad. Who knew that Feist has appeared? That stupid 1-2-3-4 song is now stuck in my head and I kinda love it. One of the best parts of becoming a parent? Re-living your childhood, of course!
Why My Husband of Three Years and I Go to Marriage Counseling. Fabulous points and makes me wish more people would have the same attitude as the author. I’ve seen a counselor this year…and it’s been amazing. Worth every penny.
Did you know Westmont has a campus garden that’s run by the Dining Commons? I’m so impressed! Check it out. Had they been doing this 10 years ago I might have avoided the infamous freshman fifteen. (If you’re not a Westmonster, you totally don’t care right now and that’s completely fine.)
We do not have any lingering medical bills from Jonathan’s treatment (miracle, I tell you, miracle) but this young couple does. You can support them by buying their album. Audrey is a fantastic musician. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
The toughest thing I’ve learned about parenting. A short but great read.
This is where we’ll be tomorrow, after we sleep-in!!!
Do not lose heart, we were made for these times. Thanks JZ for the reminder!
Ever since Anna gave my Anna some Hanna Anderson footless PJs from Costco, I’ve been wishing I had a Costco card so we could buy more. My kid grows out of pjs like it’s her job but can stay in these longer since her big ol’ feet aren’t trapped. We now have a Costco card, and the jammies are only $9.
I have a guest post up this week on Ashlee’s blog. It’s all about my mama.
Oh, and Happy Father’s Day, Dad! I love you!
