High Speed Bee Attack

One thing that has not changed since childhood is my innate attraction to accidents of all varieties. Within two minutes of getting on the wakeboarding boat this weekend, I got stung by a bee! I thought I’d been hit by debris because we were traveling so fast, but by Monday morning I knew it was a Bee attack by the sheer size of my eye!! I look like a freak!

I googled “Bee sting near the eye” just to make sure I shouldn’t go to the doctor. I found this:

“Some parts of the body are more sensitive to stings and each part will respond differently. The areas near the eyes and lips are particularly prone to swelling, sometimes result in a most comical distortion of the person’s appearance. “

I also found the picture of this kid…my eye looks just like his! At least I’m not the only one.

Poor Les. I am a little disappointed that your personal bee sting was not reflected in the picture though...if I'm being honest.
