Things I found out this week that made me happy (in no particular order)

1. Staying in your pajamas all day is a surefire way to get rid of a cold.
2. There are nuns living in the apartment complex two doors down. This, for some odd reason, made me really excited.
3. Dewey at Mochii Yogurt remembered my name. I’m now as cool as Kristi and Sharon for having a dessert store consider me a frequent customer.
4. Gas is $3.50 a gallon. Why am I happy about that? I’m not. But, I am really happy that I’ll no longer be needing gas because I quit my job, I’m buying a bike and will be riding to Midtown starting March 17th when I begin my new job!
5. Brothers & Sisters Season 2 is all online– gotta love abc.com
6. The movie Once is as good as Emily said it was.

I should clarify, the bike has not yet been purchased... but it is so cute huh? I really want it! But, I'm going to check out trusty Target first to make sure I want to spend the money. Anna Q? Thoughts on purchasing a bike? Advice? I feel like you're my go to gal with this type of stuff.

I love that you live by nuns! I think they are so intriguing - you should write a story about it "The Nuns In 12A" or something... And congrats on the new job!!! - I'd love to hear more :)

I just watched Once last week and LOVED it! My "guy" who sells me pirated dvds assured me it was good quality and "great story." He was right- I bought the soundtrack on i-tunes and have been listening ever since. Way to go on getting your new job! Still waiting to hear the details about it...Are you going to wear a helmet to work? I don't understand the meaning behind the title- are green sweatpants another item on the list of things you love?

new job! new bike! nuns! yes please.i am SO glad you liked Once! I always feel like I'm playing it up so big to get people to see it but then when people like it I'm relieved...today i filled up my scooter and it cost me $3. that gets me around 75 miles. just think- you don't even have to pay my $3! that's $3 toward your yogurt place. :)

Congrats again on the new job! You'll pay for your ADORABLE new bike in saved gas money in just a few weeks! Also, I just had my first taste of the natural fro-yo that's been sweeping the nation since pinkberry hit the streets, and I must say - I'm hooked. I plan to sample it at every Santa Barbara fro-yo outlet and post my finds on my blog. Stay tuned.
