I never thought such modest dresses could be so cute.

Ellen’s new JC Penney commericals make me laugh. Sophia Grace and her mute sidekick, on the other hand, make me a little bit disgusted. Dear Ellen, please stop with the screaming children.

My love and hate affair with Pinterest exists because of adorable cookies like those above, which, I can’t even eat right now because I decided to partake in Lent this year and gave up desserts which has been the best and worst thing I could possibly do for myself right now. Audrey Assad’s song Carry Me has been so encouraging ever since we found out about the BIG C last October. I just found out this week that her new husband was diagnosed with the same exact cancer, also last October, and is going through the same exact chemo┬áregimen. I thought her blog post expressed many of the same sentiments I have felt.

Did I tell you I’m helping plan a bone marrow registry drive next Tuesday? If you’re in Sacramento, please come! I talked with Trey B Cakes and they are donating 12o cookies. How awesome is that? They made Anna’s gender reveal cake last March, and let me tell you, it was delish. Certainly their cookies will be too. Plus, free food and drinks!
