This guy is drinking a milkshake. Want to know why?
His recent PET scan shows NO cancer in his body!
Needless to say, we’re ecstatic.
We celebrated by eating a big burger together, then laying out in the backyard under our trees while Anna babbled and played with her books.
The next day it was back to reality. Chemo. Again. Just because the cancer isn’t showing on the scan doesn’t mean we can let our guard down. He’s still fighting those bad boy cells. I’m still sitting by him reading tabloid magazines as he does.
And Anna? Well, Anna fought her first fever all weekend which meant we didn’t get enough sleep or enough smiles from her. We took her to see Dr. Joe yesterday, who deemed her congested. So happy we didn’t have to wait in the ER for that diagnosis.
Good thing her grandparents were around to distract her.
It’s also a good thing she has a Puma tracksuit for lounging around. Can it get any cuter than baby sweatsuits? I think not.

so happy for you guys!
So incredible! So so so incredible!
And yes, there probably is not much cuter than a baby track suit. Bryleigh has the exact same one in black.
Awesome news! Prayers are being answered right and left, and we’ll all continue to pray for total and complete healing.
Love those smiles on Jonathan’s and Anna’s face! See you soon…revolving grandparent visits I guess.
It is a good thing Anna has a track suit…I mean what else would she wear when she is sick and lounging around the house? …that’s what I wear….
Yahoo! Looks like an awesome milk shake!
The pic of Anna in her little hat is to-die-for. What a beauty!
That baby track suit is outstanding! =] We are so, so excited for you all and the awesome news! Continuing to pray for you all. Good choice on the celebratory burger and shakes, too!
Hooray!!!! Love that picture of Jon. See ya cancer! Hello milkshake
Great news friends! That Anna is fantastic. I’m partial to the baby hats.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Anna is so cute.
Leslie, what wonderful news that your hubby is cancer free! My dad is soon to celebrate 2 years of being cancer free. I love the dedication I can see to your family through this post. I’m looking forward to meeting you in person and reading lots of your posts. I am a hard-core blog stalker and your blog is just the kind I like.
I did the happy dance a couple of days ago when I first heard the news. Today I did it again!
This is great news! Praise the Lord. Excited to see you three sometime soon.
