To answer your question, yes I am still riding my bike to work even though it’s practically negative degrees and dark every night on my ride home. To ensure my safety, Sharon and Jonathan helped me pick up a new reflector for my backpack and a bright shiny front light. This all comes as a result from almost being hit three times on my way home last week. Between the reflector, the ankle strap, the helmet, the mittens, and the huge backpack, I could not get any more dorky.

can we see pic all geared up on the bike? My sister lives in Long Beach and rides her bike everywhere…for her birthday my grandmother bought her a helmet, flashing light to put on the front and a vest that is bright orange and flashes…and she wears them all!!
Sometimes you are so tall & blond & smart & gainfully employed & happily married & charitable. (not to mention half marathon-y)
And sometimes you are a huge dork. Thanks for that.

Erin: “Make good choices.”
Amy: “Don’t get dead.”
